WOW! What a fabulous cottage. Very quiet and rural location in the middle of farmland, and only a 15 minute walk to the coastal path. Every pot/pan/utensil provided in the kitchen as well as a good oven and full size fridge/freezer. Board games as well as lots of dvds/CDs and reading material. Beds superbly comfortable and excellent bathrooms with super high pressure showers. The hosts Richard and Sandy were amazing getting in touch before s with a list of places to visit/eat at. Will be back!

The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and their attention to detail was so lovely, it was a home from home. The barn was warm and fully equipped with everything that we needed. We really enjoyed being in the deep Devon country side it was magical.

What a tranquil location and our accommodation was 1st class. The owners Sandy and Richard are so friendly and their communication throughout was 100% responsive.
The images from the Web site looked great and on arrival the barn accommodation didn't disappoint, it was lovely. Sandy had put a few "essentials" like wine, scones and clotted cream ready for us (how did she know) plus local milk etc as a very welcoming 'welcome pack' Thank you Sandy. Plenty to do out and about locally with the SW Coastal Path but a short walk away, and further afield as you could see by going through the very comprehensive guest information pack.
A great week in #7, we'd have liked to stay longer
Our thanks to our hosts Sandy & Richard

Thoroughly enjoyable week at Windbury Barn. Beautifully presented with welcome treats for us and our 2 dogs. Quiet location but within easy reach of local shops and pubs by car. Sandy & Richard gave lots of ideas and places of interest on a welcome meet on Sat morning as well as in a comprehensive info folder. We came in our EV bringing a 7.5m charging cable with us which reached an indoor socket (Richard offered an extension cable if required). An enjoyable week in a lovely cottage and welcome reception to make us feel at home. Would happily come back and recommend. Thanks again Richard and Sandy.

The cottage was immaculate and well equipped although the living room was a little cramped with 4 of us. There was a lovely welcome pack for us and our dogs which was much appreciated and the owners personally welcomed us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time sitting out on the patio which was sheltered and private. Very quiet rural location where single track access roads can be a challenge but overall a very enjoyable stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, property is really nice, equipped with everything you need. Very rural but thats what we wanted, a nice peaceful break. Hosts Sandy and Richard were really welcoming and the Bottle of Red, scones and milk in the fridge for us on arrival was a lovely surprise. We went in early March as a quick break. Recommend the Tarka trail at Torrington for cycling and well worth a ride to Instow for a lovely pub lunch. Clovelly and great coastal walks nearby.
